A visual identity for Southbank Centre's longest running festival, Poetry International. In 2023, the festival focused on how poetry could help tackle the climate crisis. I combined an image of Earth with a sacred geometric pattern called the Flower of Life. This ancient symbol represents the interconnectedness of all life, and can be found in Egyptian, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic and Christian cultures. As well as portraying global unity, the design shows the underlying beauty and interconnected meaning that poetry aims to uncover.
